The Cichlid Cellar is not a commercial site but is maintained strictly by a long-time hobbyist. However, there are frequent requests concerning the availability of fish to purchase. Because I am a hobbyist, with a full-time job that takes up most of my time, I am not able to get involved with shipping fish around the world. I do, however, have fish that I have bred from time to time and most often make these available through auctions sponsored by local aquarium societies and occasionally supply local retailers. I am also willing to sell some of my surplus fish to other hobbyists who are close enough to arrange for local pick up (Nanuet, NY).
